1.1 Component Management

Navigation Path:

The Component Management tab is a high-level administrative tool used to activate or deactivate specific features for your entire organization.

Access Note: This tab is strictly restricted and only accessible by users with Organizational Level permissions.

1.1.1  Feature Library

In this section, you can manage the following core modules:

  • Service Booking: Allows employees to book custom services (e.g., catering, equipment) to enhance the office experience.

  • Working Hours: Enables time tracking, vacation management, and sick leave reporting for employees.

  • Report a Problem: (Currently: Activated) Connects the "Problem Tickets" system, allowing members to report facility management issues directly via the app.

  • Evacuation Management: A safety feature that informs people in the office during emergencies and guides them to safety. Includes a Tutorial for setup.

  • Visitor Management: (Currently: Activated) Facilitates contactless and paperless registration for office guests.

  • Event Management: (Currently: Activated) Manages corporate events, ensuring only invited guests can access the office for monitored safety.

1.2 Third Party Integrations

Overview

The Third Party Integrations section provides an overview of available external system integrations.

These integrations allow Door James to connect with third-party tools such as:

  • ServiceNow

  • Microsoft Exchange / EWS

  • SAML Authentication

  • Stripe

  • Custom user sync (JSON)

  • Smart access systems (e.g., Nuki)


Integration Cards

Each integration is displayed as a card and includes:

  • Integration name

  • Status information

  • Activation toggle (if available)

Availability

Some integrations may be:

  • Disabled

  • Not configured

  • Planned but not yet available

    In these cases, the integration cannot be activated or configured.

Permissions

  • Editing integrations may be restricted

  • Only users with the appropriate administrative role can modify settings


Usage

This section is mainly used to:

  • Check which integrations are available

  • Verify integration status

  • Prepare for future integrations

1.3 Office Activation

Navigation Path:
Components > Office Activation

This section provides a strategic overview of your global digital infrastructure.

  • Activation Summary: View a comprehensive list of all activated and deactivated components across the entire organization.

  • Regional Filtering: Admins can filter the activation status by Country to ensure local offices have the correct features enabled according to their specific requirements or legal regulations.
